The term comes from the Greek word apologia, meaning a speaking in defense.
It is used here in Philippians 1:16
"The latter do so in love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel."
Apologetics is a branch of theology that is concerned with the defense of Christian doctrines, specifically the defense of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Below are just some of the ways that Truth Ministries incorporates the use of apologetics in our ministry programs:
- Science as it applies to the Existence of God
- Historical Validity of the Bible
- Archaeology in the Bible Lands
- Study of World Religions compared with Christianity
Our most exciting Apologetics-based program will be ready in the coming months. We have been working on a Traveling Biblical Museum called
"From Noah till Now"
It is a chronological walk through the story of the Jewish Nation from the Flood to Modern Day Israel covering over 4500 years of Archaeology.
